DIY: Mapping out Routes

I saw this on Pintrist and wanted to try it out since I just got back from a big trip. 

Materials: Black marker, scissors, two colors of thread, needles, and a map.

1. First using a non-permenant (so you can quickly erase any mistakes) mark out your route you took. 2. Using the first colored thread do a regular stitch along the mark path. Remember to be delicate and patient (especially if your journey was long like mine.)  3. Using the second colored thread stitch Xs at your different spots and destinations 4. You're done! Frame it, decorate it, or put in a scrapbook to help you remember your journey forever!
