I've always loved the idea of an advent calendar. Since everyone in my house is grown up and I didn't really have a lot of time to plan one out I decided to make something just for myself. The idea behind this is simple. I printed out 25 different quotes, to-dos, bible verses, song lyrics, etc. rolled them up and put them in a jar for me to unroll everyday. I knew December would be a pretty stressful month with finals and college applications due so I thought this would be a good source of daily encouragement. This is how I made my calendar:
I'm already on day two and I look forward to opening up a little note for myself every day.
